Renault Laguna Coupe Concept

The Renault Laguna Coupe Concept makes it debut at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Laguna Coupe Concept is using Renault’s brand-new V6 dCi engine.

The new 2,993 cc V6 dCi engine was developed with the collaboration with Nissan and it will come as standard. Depending on the versions, the engine produces a peak output of 170-195kW (230-265hp) and a maximum torque of 450-550Nm. It also clocked 7 seconds for 0-100kph.

The coupe comes with 6-speed automatic transmission where the fuel consumption is well under control emits lower than 200g/km CO2.

Laguna Coupé Concept which uses the same platform as the New Laguna is the first car to feature the new four-wheel Active Drive chassis that sets a new standard to safe handling. The chassis was developed by the engineers at Renault Sport Technologies and this gave the sporting sensation and great driving pleasure to whoever drive the coupe. The chassis provides greater manoeuvrability and it also grips the road firmly at low speed.

The Laguna Coupé Concept’s is fitted with 20-inch aluminum wheel and the helix design hides the nuts and bolts from sight, while still ensure that the brake callipers still looks cool. 245/35 Michelin Pilot Sport tyres on the wheels allow the car to handle like a sports car but but still safe for normal driving.

The LED headlamps on the coupe is using a technology based on the reflection and propagation of light. The light beams from the main headlamps are reflected by crystal-shaped transparent blocks and the intensity and distribution of the light automatically adapts to the driving conditions.
