
Renault has unveiled the Megane Coupe Concept at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show which will be released as a production coupe at a later date.
The Renault Megane Coupe Concept is powered by a 2.0 turbo petrol engine mated to a manual 6-speed gearbox producing 200 hp (147 kW) at 5,800 rpm and maximum torque of 280 Nm at 2,600 rpm. The Megane Coupe Concept clocked 7.2 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h with economical fuel consumption of 6.5 liter for 100 km and release CO2 at 154 g/km
The concept stands on 21-inch aluminium alloy, 7-spoke, satin-finish Dragon Grey wheels wrapped with 245/35 Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
Other features of the Renault Megane Coupe Concept includes LED headlampd and foglamps, vertical travel doors and painted in iridescent Dragon Grey color. The concept also comes with modern and intuitive cabin on the interior such as four-zone climate control system, navigation, radio, music, video and bluetooth telephone. The concept car can also be locked and unlocked using a Samsung F700 mobile phone.
