Renntech, Mercedes tuning specialist from Florida, has released its new PKG2 package for the Mercedes-Benz SLR 722.
Compared to the PKG1 package that was released last year which features power increase from the standard 650 hp (485 kW) to 722 hp (538 kW), upgraded intercoolers, a larger crankshaft pulley and a reprogrammed ECU, the PKG2 package has the SLR’s 5.4-liter supercharged engine power boosted to 740 hp (552 kW) at 6,400 rpm.
The Renntech PKG2 package for the Mercedes-Benz SLR 722 consists of reprogrammed ECU, motorsport style exhaust system and the new Renntech Signature 10-spoke wheels in SLR offsets and 3 finishes (chrome, satin-ceramic, and sniper gray).
Pricing for the Renntech PKG1 package starts at $12,990 while for the PKG2, the price starts at $26,990 and another additional $1,950 for the 20-inch alloy rims. A more powerful braking system is also available at additional cost.
