Rinspeed sQuba Concept

Rinspeed, a Swiss automobile manufacturer reported that they will unveil the Rinspeed sQuba Concept at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show which will be held on 6 to 16 March 2008. Rinspeed claimed that the sQuba will be the worlds first real diving car.
The Rinspeed sQuba Concept does not only capable to be driven on the road, but it will also be able to dive up to 10 meters (33 feet) depth.
As for Rinspeed boss, Frank M. Rinderknecht, the “sQuba” symbolizes the realization of a long-cherished dream from the James Bond film “The spy who loved me”.
The sQuba is powered with an electric motor with powerful torque. With the help of two propellers in the stern and two powerful jet drives in the bow, propel the vehicle under water while diving. The sQuba is also environment friendly with its zero emissions, zero pollution in when in the water.
The driver and passenger are enclosed with Carbon Nano Tubes enclosure and meanwhile fresh breathing air is supplied by the self-contained on-board system.
