Ohio based tuner, Switzer Performance, has announced the new Switzer GT2 R911S which is more powerful than the all-new 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS. The car is based on the Porsche 997 GT2 and equipped with Switzer’s P800 GT2 tuning package.
Apart from the P800 GT2 package, the R911 is able to produce 911 hp by using race fuel and with the installation of Switzer’s MONSTER intercoolers where consistent engine performance lap after lap can be assured.
With that much power at the rear wheel, the GT2 is fitted with a Switzer-specific titanium inverted-front-strut, remote-reservoir suspension system engineered by the track experts at JRZ. The suspension system has been torture-tested in the Patron GT3 Cup and Grand-Am Rolex GT series.
Each R911S will be equipped with hand-selected spring and damping rates, specifically tuned to each client’s track experience and level of aggression.
To reduce the weight, the Switzer GT2 R911S Porsche 911 GT2 is fitted with lightweight carbon fiber body panels developed by low-mass experts at Seibon. The kit also lowers the cente rof gravity for maximum performance in advanced-level trackday and time-attack sessions.
The price for the Switzer GT2 R911S is priced at $199,900 while the R911S is priced at $239,900.
