Mansory Switzerland AG, the subsidiary of its parent company situated in Germany, has presented its latest tuning program for the Porsche 997 at the Geneva Auto Salon 2009. The tuning program involves upgrade on the aerodynamics, engine performance and handling of the Porsche model 911 Type 997.
The Mansory Porsche 997 features body components made of PUR-RIM to save weight and parts of the serial auto body are made of resilient and inherently stable material.
The bodykit features new front apron, carbon hood, rear apron that accommodate the new 4-pipe exhaust system and new side skirts.

Caractere Volkswagen Scirocco at 2009 Geneva

Car tuner from Belgium, Caractere, has unveiled its new body kit and performance upgrade for the new Volkswagen Scirocco at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.
The Caractere Volkswagen Scirocco’s 2.0-liter TFSI engine comes in five tuning stages with the first stage delivers an increase of power from the standard 200 hp (147 kW) to 239 hp (176 kW) and 340 Nm for the price of €998.

Italdesign Giugiaro Frazer-Nash Namir Concept Unveiled at Geneva

Italdesign Giugiarofrom Torino, Italy in collaboration with Frazer Nash (a company specialized in the design, construction and marketing of hybrid systems from England), has produced the Namir Concept that was unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.
Namir which stands for Tiger in Arabic is a sports car powered by a hybrid engine developed together with Frazer-Nash combines 814 cc endothermic transverse rotary engine that runs on petrol coupled with a generator that charges the lithium polymer power cells and by four electric motors installed on the front and rear suspension to produce 370 hp (270 kW). The Namir Concept achieves 39 km with one liter of fuel and emits CO2 of less than 60 g per km.

2009 Spyker C8 Aileron Officially Unveiled at 2009 Geneva

Spyker Cars, manufacturer of exclusive sports car since 2000 from the Netherlands, has officially unveiled the production version of the Spyker C8 Aileron at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.
The 2009 Spyker C8 Aileron is powered by Audi’s 4.2-liter V8 engine that produces 400 hp. The engine is mated to two types of transmissions, a six-speed manual and automatic.
The Spyker C8 Aileron accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds with the top speed of 300 km/h (187 mph).

Renault Megane Renault Sport Unveiled at 2009 Geneva

Renault has unveiled the new Megane Renault Sport at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show that comeswith two chassis choices, Sport and Cup limited slip differential for better traction.
The new Renault Megane Renault Sport is powered by a new-generation 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that produces maximum power of 250 hp (184 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 340 Nm of maximum torque at 3,000 rpm (20 hp and 40 Nm more than the Megane R26.R). The engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.

Zagato Perana Z-One at 2009 Geneva Motor Show

Zagato, coachbuilders from Milan, in collaboration with South African vehicle manufacturer, Perana Performance Group, has produced the Perana Z-One which was unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.
The sales of the Zagato Perana Z-One will be limitred to 999 units per year within Europe to assure exclusivity and to commemorate the 90 years of Zagato design.
The car complied to Euro 4 emission legislation and will be priced at the introductory price of under €50,000 before taxes.
