The Audi R8 TDI Le Mans make its debut at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show today. The R8 TDI is powered by a 6-liter V12 twin turbodiesel engine producing 500 hp and 1,000 Nm (737lb-ft) of torque.
The Audi R8 TDI clocked 4.2 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h with the top speed of over 300 km/h.

Audi R8 V12 TDI Concept

Audi revealed the Audi R8 TDI Concept at the 2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The TDI is the first 12-cylinder diesel engine in a high-performance roadgoing sports car.
The Audi R8 TDI Concept is powered by a V12 6 liter engine based on the Audi R8 which produces 500 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. The R8 TDI clocked 4.2 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and the top speed is at 300 km/h. The R8 reaches maximum torque at only 1,750 rpm.
The new V12 TDI drivetrain is built at the Györ plant, in Hungary. The Audi R8 TDI is also equipped with two turbochargers which produce up to 2.6 bar of boost pressure.
