Citroen C-Cactus Concept

The Citroen C-Cactus Concept is powered by a Hybrid HDi powertrain equipped with a ZEV (Zero Emissions Vehicle) mode. The Citroen C-Cactus Concept uses a 70 bhp DIN HDi diesel engine with a particulate filter and an electric motor providing additional power of 30 bhp. The C-Cactus consumes just 3.4l/100 km with CO2 emission levels of 78 g/km over a combined cycle.

The hybrid system, ZEV mode, best use during urban driving will allow the Cactus to run on the electric motor only. When drove on a long journey, where successive acceleration and deceleration required, the hybrid system limits fuel consumption by using both types of energy.
