Venturi Automobiles in the collaboration with Michelin presented the Venturi Volage at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The Volage is another electric car from Venturi after the Fetish roadster that was unveiled at the Top Marques Monaco last April.
All the 4 wheels and the active suspension of the Volage is equipped with Michelin Active Wheel technology which incorporates 2 electric motors per wheel, 1 for the suspension and 1 for the drive. All the components motors, gear reduction units and suspensions, are miniaturized and built into the wheels.

Volkswagen Scirocco GT24

Volkswagen unveiled the race version of the Scirocco at the legendary GTI Meet at Wörther Lake, Austria dubbed the Scirocco GT24 on 22 May 2008. The racing version of the GT24 will then participate in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring 2 days later.
The Volkswagen Scirocco GT24 is powered by a tuned 2.0-liter TFSI 16-valve direct injection engine with a turbocharger and intercooler producing 325 PS and maximum torque of 340 Nm at 2,100 rpm. Drive is sent through the front wheels via a dual clutch gearbox (DSG) revised gear ratios and a lightened flywheel.

Maserati A8GCS Berlinetta Touring Concept

Italian coachbuilder, Carrozeria Touring Superleggera, has presented the Maserati A8GCS Berlinetta Touring at the Concorso D’Eleganza Villa D’Este on 25 - 27 April 2008.

Filandri Moreno, a 47-year old Italian car enthusiast, has built his own supercar dubbed the Uragano for the past 4 years.
The Uragano (Hurricane in Italian) was fabricated and hand-built from scratch which includes the body, panels, brakes, suspension and steering system.

Corvette Concept Inspired by Cheetah

Ivan Luccion, a graduate from Brigham Young University who was born in Argentina and then moved to United States has came up with the Corvette Concept.
The design of the Corvette Concept was inspired by the fastest land animal, the Cheetah. In the past, most of Corvette production models were inspired by marine animals such as the shark and stingray but Ivan’s concept is inspired by a land animal.

Geely NL SUV

Apart from the Geely GT Concept and the CE Hatchback Concept, Geely will debut 23 new production models and concepts at the 2008 Beijing Motor Show.
One of them is the Geely NL SUV which is a compact crossover. Other models include the new King Kong hatchback, HE minivan, GE SUV and the FC-1, FC-2 and FC-3 sedan lineup. One more image after the jump.
