Chevrolet Riptide Hybrid Rally Concept

General Motors last February conduct a design studio at College of Design and Art in Cincinnati and one of the outcome is the Chevrolet Riptide Hybrid Rally Concept.
The Chevrolet Riptide Hybrid Rally Concept was created by a student designer Chris Kujawski which indicates that the car is powered by a turbocharged biodeisel engine with 4 electric motors, one mounted on each wheel.

Holden Captiva SUV 60th Anniversary Special Edition

Holden or officially GM Holden Ltd, is General Motors subsidiary in Australia, has released the special edition Captiva SUV (Chevrolet Captiva elsewhere).
The Holden Captiva SUV 60th Anniversary Special Edition is based on the Captiva LX trim featuring impressive list of standard features. The Captiva is on sale starting 1 May and is priced starting from $43,990 for the petrol variant and $44,990 for the diesel variant.

Corvette Competition Limited Edition

General Motors Europe will release the limited edition Corvette Competition which is based on the Corvette C6 Coupe in Europe. Delivery will start in April 2008 and order can be done from authorized Corvette dealers as of now.
The launch of the Corvette Competition is in conjunction with the start of the 56th edition of the legendary Sebring Twelve Hours on 15 March, the first race in the American Le Mans Series championship (ALMS).

2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe

The 2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe which is currently presented at the 2008 New York Auto Show is the GXP model that will arrive at dealerships in early 2009. The new Solstice Coupe is based on the Solstice coupe concept shown at the North American International Auto Show in 2002.
The Pontiac Solstice Coupe is powered by a standard 2.4L Ecotec 4-cylinder engine producing 173 hp (129 kW), while the GXP version is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged Ecotec engine producing 260 hp (194 kW).

Holden Special Vehicles Supercar W427

Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) unveiled its 7-liter Supercar W427 at the 2008 Melbourne Motor Show in conjunction with the company’s 20th anniversary celebrations. The final paint scheme, Panorama Silver, is the same as the original Group A SS VL Commodore that was released exactly 20 years ago at the 1988 Melbourne Motor Show.
According to HSV Managing Director, Scott Grant, the W427 could quite possibly the fastest road registrable Supercar ever produced in Australia and among the quickest anywhere around the world and also will be one of the safest cars HSV has ever put on the road. The power output is yet to be known but it was reported to deliver 370 kW of power and 640 Nm of torque.
