RUF Rt 12 S

RUF, car tuner from Germany, has released the Rt 12 S which is based on Porsche 997. The RUF Rt 12 S is powered by a modified biturbo boxer engine that produces 685 hp (504 kW) and 880 Nm of maximum torque.
The Rt 12 S is fitted with a RUF roll cage which is integrated in the ceiling. Its chassis and aerodynamics are tuned to a maximum speed of 360 km/h.

Mansory Porsche 997 at 2009 Geneva Auto Show

Mansory Switzerland AG, the subsidiary of its parent company situated in Germany, has presented its latest tuning program for the Porsche 997 at the Geneva Auto Salon 2009. The tuning program involves upgrade on the aerodynamics, engine performance and handling of the Porsche model 911 Type 997.
The Mansory Porsche 997 features body components made of PUR-RIM to save weight and parts of the serial auto body are made of resilient and inherently stable material.
The bodykit features new front apron, carbon hood, rear apron that accommodate the new 4-pipe exhaust system and new side skirts.

SPI L4 700/750 Tiptronic Porsche 997

Switzer Performance Innovation (SPI), a tuning firm from Ohio, has announced its latest tuning package for the Porsche 997 known as the L4 700/750 Tiptronic package which is a toned down version of the Switzer SLEDGEHAMMER bolt-on it introduced earlier this month.
The SPI L4 700/750 Tiptronic Porsche 997 accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, a quarter-mile in over 130 mph.

SPI SLEDGEHAMMER Porsche 997
Switzer Performance Innovations (SPI), a renowned builder of exhaust and bolt-on performance products for Porsche 996 and 997 in Oberlin, Ohio, has unveiled its conversion package for the Porsche 997 known as the SLEDGEHAMMER.
The SPI SLEDGEHAMMER twin-turbo Porsche 997 was developed by Tym Switzer and his crew at SPI in Oberlin. The SLEDGEHAMMER, named after a candid comment from an SPI tech, is a bolt-on performance package that delivers over 850 all-wheel hp on race fuel which is over 1,000 hp at the crank.
