GTbyCITROEN at 2008 Paris Motor Show

Citroen has unveiled its show car, the GTbyCITROEN, at the 2008 Paris Motor Show which is a style replica of a vehicle from the digital world. The two-seater car was designed by Citroen in the partnership with Polyphony, designer of the driving simulation game Gran Turismo on Playstation 3.
The GTbyCITROEN features wide air intakes and clear-cut horizontal headlamps consist of blue LEDs at the front, chrome chevrons on the bonnet, carbon rearview mirrors and large wraparound windscreen flows seamlessly into the roof and on into the rear mobile airfoil at the exterior.

Venturi Volage Concept

Venturi Automobiles in the collaboration with Michelin presented the Venturi Volage at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The Volage is another electric car from Venturi after the Fetish roadster that was unveiled at the Top Marques Monaco last April.
All the 4 wheels and the active suspension of the Volage is equipped with Michelin Active Wheel technology which incorporates 2 electric motors per wheel, 1 for the suspension and 1 for the drive. All the components motors, gear reduction units and suspensions, are miniaturized and built into the wheels.

Peugeot 308 Hatchback with Stop & Start Technology

Peugeot will unveil the 308 hatchback at the Paris Motor Show which is equipped with the Stop & Stop technology that will only make its appearance on Peugeot’s production line from 2011.
The Peugeot 308 is powered by a 1.6-liter HDi engine with FAP (particulate emission filter) mated to an electronically-controlled 6 speed manual gearbox (BMP6) that produces 112 bhp (82 kW) that consumes only 4.1 liter/100 km with CO2 emissions of 109 g/km in the combined cycle.

2007 Suzuki Swift Sport

Suzuki will display the Suzuki Swift Sport at the 2006 Paris Motor Show [28 September until 15 October] – the European specification Swift Sport is based on the 3-door Swift.
It is produced at Magyar Suzuki Corporation in Hungary and sales will start in the autumn. Sales of the Japanese specification Swift Sport started late last year and have been well accepted there since its launch for its performance and dynamic design.
