Subaru Tecnica International Inc (STI) has released a special performance version of the Subaru Impreza known as R205 which is already available on sale in Japan.
The R205 is based on the Subaru Impreza WRX STI and it is the top performance model of the WRX STI. The R of the R205 stands for Road Sport and it makes full use of specially designed features and performance parts of the WRX STI spec C.

2009 Subaru Impreza WRX STI spec C

Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the maker of Subaru vehicles, has officially unveiled the Subaru Impreza WRX STI spec C in Japan which is already available through Subaru dealerships. Only 900 units will be produced.
The 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX STI spec C is a hardcore version of any Impreza model featuring enhanced engine and chassis performance as well as lighter body.

Subaru Impreza WRX STI to Compete in 24-Hour Nurburgring

Subaru Tecnica International (STI) has announced that it will participate in the 37th ADAC Zurich 24 Hour Race or also known as 24 Hours of the Nurburgring which takes place on the 21 – 24 May 2009.
Subaru will use the Subaru Impreza WRX STI (GRB Type) which is powered by a horizontally opposed 4-cylinder EJ20 2.0-liter DOHC Turbo engine coupled with Symmetrical AWD at the 24-Hour Nurburgring race.

Subaru Impreza WRX A-Line

The maker of Subaru automobiles, Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), has launched the Subaru Impreza WRX A-Line which is already available for sale in Japan. The will also be available in a new “Satin White Pearl” body color.
The Subaru Impreza WRX A-Line is powered by a Horizontally-Opposed 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve 2.5-liter turbocharged Boxer engine mated to a 5 Speed Automatic Transmission with SPORTSHIFT (SPORTSHIFT E-5AT) but still retain the basic component such as the chassis and the body of the WRX STI.
The Impreza WRX A-Line produces 221 kW (300 PS) at 6,200 rpm and 350 Nm (35.7 kgf.m) of maximum torque between 2,800 and 6,000 rpm.

The ings N-SPEC Subaru Impreza WRX STI (GRB) bodykit consists of new front bumper, front grille, front canard and fog lamp attachment and cover. The kit also features new side steps and new rear bumper.

2008 SEMA: 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX 5-Door SPT

Subaru has presented the custom built 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX 5-door SPT at the 2008 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The Subaru Impreza WRX SPT is equipped with parts from the Subaru Genuine Accessory and SPT (Subaru Performance Tuning) catalogs that upgrades the performance and styling of the vehicle.
Since the 2009 Subaru Impreza already comes with a stock Aero Body Kit, the Impreza SPT is fitted with only a STI front lip spoiler and Subaru Genuine Accessory fog light protectors.
