Litchfield, Subaru tuning specialist, has unveiled its latest tuning package for the 2008 JDM Subaru Impreza STI known as Type-20 which made its first appearance at the Autosport show.
According to the company owner, Ian Litchfield, the Litchfield Subaru Impreza STI Type-20 has more than enough performance ability to match the latest Supercars costing many times the price.

2008 SEMA: 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX 5-Door SPT

Subaru has presented the custom built 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX 5-door SPT at the 2008 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The Subaru Impreza WRX SPT is equipped with parts from the Subaru Genuine Accessory and SPT (Subaru Performance Tuning) catalogs that upgrades the performance and styling of the vehicle.
Since the 2009 Subaru Impreza already comes with a stock Aero Body Kit, the Impreza SPT is fitted with only a STI front lip spoiler and Subaru Genuine Accessory fog light protectors.

2008 SEMA Preview: Subaru Forester XTI Concept

Subaru has announced that it will unveil the Subaru Forester XTI Concept at the 2008 SEMA Show in Las Vegas on November 4-7. The XTI Concept combines the versatility of the all-new Forester 2.5XT with the Subaru Impreza WRX STI.
The Subaru Forester XTI is powered by the WRX STI 2.5-liter intercooled turbo engine that produces 315 hp (standard is 305 hp) and 300 lb-ft (standard is 290 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is mated to a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission and the Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD) version of Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive to help the XTI to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds.
At the exterior, the Subaru Forester XTI Concept features custom Atmospheric “Re-Entry” paint scheme, Subaru Genuine Accessory front lower spoiler and Sport Mesh Grille, and JDM body kit consisting of side skirts, a rear skirt and a gate spoiler.
Inside, the Forester XTI features leather and Alcantara sport seats, a special instrument cluster, front dash and center console and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The suspension system has been upgraded with an adjustable coil-over suspension by STI and it uses WRX STI’s braking system which consists of Brembo 4-piston front calipers, 2-piston rear calipers, Super Sport ABS and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD).
The Subaru Forester XTI Concept stands on STI 18 x 8-inch S204 forged alloy wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan Neova 255/40R18 performance tires.
Subaru Legacy Premium Leather Limited Edition

Subaru has released the Legacy Premium Leather Limited Edition version for the 2.5i and 2.0 GT Legacy sedan and the 2.5i and 2.5 XT Legacy outback.
The Subaru Legacy Premium Leather Limited Edition features a new pillar trim and a black roof trim, leather seats, chrome door sills, SRS side and curtain airbags, aluminum pedals, a HDD navigation system and newly designed alloy wheels.

20th Anniversary Subaru Impreza WRX STI

Subaru has released the special edition Subaru Impreza WRX STI to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Impreza STI. There will be only 300 units of the special edition Impreza STI to be produced.
The 20th Anniversary Subaru Impreza WRX STI features special coilover dampers that deliver a firmer ride and better handling, white paint finish, thicker front and rear anti-roll bars and stands on 18-inch cast aluminum wheels. Apart from that, it also comes with a black lip spoiler at the front, a rear wing and special badging and door-sill plates.

Subaru Impreza WRC 2008

Subaru has unveiled its new All-Wheel Drive Impreza World Rally Car (WRC) 2008 ahead of its debut at the Acropolis Rally in Greece starting on 29 May 2008. The car is designed in-house by Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), the maker of Subaru vehicles.
Subaru World Rally Team (SWRT) will use the hatchback Impreza for the first time, incorporating a bold new color scheme featuring the famous Subaru constellation logo.

Subaru Impreza WRX by Perrin Performance

Perrin Performance, manufacturer of performance parts and accessories from America, has presented its performance kit for the new Subaru Impreza WRX STi.
The performance kit includes a larger GT3071R unit capable of handling over 400 hp to replace the stock turbocharger, a set of uprated fuel-injectors and reprogrammed ECU, a high-flow stainless steel kit with a new catalytic converter and mufflers to replace the stock exhaust system. All this produced 385 hp and 540 Nm of torque.

2008 Subaru Legacy 2.0D and Subaru Outback 2.0D

Subaru has announced that the new Subaru Legacy and Subaru Outback are powered by Subaru’s new 2.0 liter Boxer Diesel engine and will be unveiled at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show next month.
Subaru reported that the new Subaru 2.0 CRD Boxer Engine produces 147 hp/110 kw/150 PS at 3,600 rpm and 258 lb-ft/350 Nm of torque at 1,800 rpm. The diesel engine is also Euro 4 compliant where it produces 148 g/km of CO2 as found in the Subaru Legacy.

2009 Subaru Forester Live Images

There have been few reports over the internet showing the spyshots or images from Japanese magazine of the new 2009 Subaru Forester but none have clear images of the Forester.
The people at Forester Owners Forum (subaruforester.org) have the real life pictures of the 2009 Subaru Forester which were taken maybe from one of Subaru dealer in Japan.
