Shadow Sports Design, a tuning firm headed by the former Nissan legendary racing driver Masami Kageyama, will unveil its custom Nissan GT-R at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon which will be held from January 9 to 11.
From the photos, the Shadow Sports Design Nissan GT-R features a new carbon fiber front spoiler with integrated brake ducting and large carbon fiber rear wing.

Nissan Tiida/Versa S-tune PROTO Concept
The Nissan Tiida (also known as Versa) that was tuned by NISMO made its first appearance at the 2008 Tokyo Auto Salon.
The tuned Tiida known as Tiida S-Tune PROTO Concept features new bodykits, spoilers and NISMO alloy wheels.

Mugen Honda Type-RR Experimental Spec

The Mugen Honda Civic Type-RR Experimental Spec was unveiled at the 2008 Tokyo Auto Salon. The Civic Type-RR is powered by a K20A engine that was bored out to 2,157 cc.
The new 2.2 liter engine now could produce 260 hp (194kW) and 173 lb.-ft. of torque. Basically the engine is the same as the i-VTEC 2.0 liter unit but Mugen manage to reduce the friction on the internals. The camshafts has also been redesigned.

Nissan GT-R GT500 Race Car

The Nissan GT-R GT500 which will compete for the 2008 SUPER GT series make its public debut at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The new GT-R GT500 unveiled the new livery which will be featured across Nissan motorsports activities during the 2008 season.
The new livery resulted from close cooperation between Nissan’s design team and NISMO, its motorsports affiliate company, and feedback from members of the Club NISMO fan club.

Mazda RX-8 RS Facelift

Recently, there was a scanned image of the new Mazda RX-8 RS released on the internet. Now we’re able to see clearer images of the JDM only Mazda RX-8 RS that will be unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon. No details yet released by Mazda of the new RX-8 RS.
Among the features of the new Mazda RX-8 are new front grill, higher-mounted fog lamps, wider headlights and rounded LED taillight, 19-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, Recaro bucket seats and Bilstein suspension.

Honda Civic Type-R Modulo Concept

There will be another concept car to hit the 2008 Tokyo Auto Salon from Honda and it is the Honda Civic Type-R Modulo Concept. The other concept from Modulo is the Honda Inspire Modulo Concept.
The Honda Civic Type-R Modulo Concept is a street-legal, track-ready version of the Civic Type-R sedan and features 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 225/35 R19 tires, clear taillights and wing type rear spoiler at the exterior.
