MTM Volkswagen Golf VI GTD

Apart from the MTM Volkswagen Golf VI GTI, MTM has also released its tuning package for the diesel Golf VI GTD that increases the output power to 205 hp (151 kW). The fuel consumption is said to be less than 8 liters per 100 km.

The tuning package consists of ECU modifications, MTM exhaust system with 80 mm 4-pipe-optic, MTM suspensions, MTM sport rims in BIMOTO design and MTM brake system.

MTM Volkswagen Golf VI GTI

Motoren Technik Mayer (MTM) has released its tuning package for the Volkswagen Golf VI GTI that increases the output power of the Golf GTI by 100 hp thanks to the power enhancement package and new exhaust system.

MTM offers four power enhancement stages for the Golf VI GTI starting with the ECU optimization which produces 270 hp (199 kW). The highest stage features ECU modification, MTM turbocharger with exhaust manifold and complete 4-pipe exhaust system to produce 310 hp (228 kW) and 410 Nm of torque.

Volkswagen Golf GTI Worthersee 09 Edition

This year, Volkswagen has unveiled the Golf GTI “Worthersee 09” at the Wörthersee Tour, the gathering of Audi and Volkswagen enthusiasts.

At the exterior, the Volkswagen Golf GTI Worthersee 09 comes in a special glowing red color “Firespark Metallic”, high-gloss black 19-inch alloy spoke wheels with red trim line, radiator grille screen with classic GTI stripes and new smoked LED taillights.

Volkswagen Golf GTI Pirelli

Volkswagen has released the special edition version of the golf GTI dubbed the Golf GTI Pirelli which is based on the Golf GTI Edition 30 that was released early last year.

The Volkswagen Golf GTI Pirelli is powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI engine producing 230 hp, an increase by 30 hp from the stock 200 hp. Power is channeled via a 6-speed manual or the twin-clutch DSG gearbox.

The GTI clocked 0 to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds, an increase from the stock 7.2 seconds. The top speed is also increase from 146 mph to 152 mph.

Volkswagen Golf Variant RaVe 270 Concept

The Volkswagen Golf Variant RaVe 270 Concept make its debut at the Essen Motor Show. The RaVe 270 is capable to produce 270 PS from its turbocharged 4-cylinder TSI direct gasoline injection.

The Volkswagen Golf Variant RaVe 270 Concept interior features leather bucket seats, powerful 1,400 Watt sound system based on the brand-new RNS 510 radio-navigation system.

The Golf Variant RaVe 270 Concept was developed and built by Volkswagen Individual in “Biscay Blue” color and it is the most powerful Golf Variant of all times with modifications made to the Golf GTI engine and the 4Motion all-wheel drive of the Golf R32.

The Volkswagen Golf Variant RaVe 270 Concept is powered with a 198 kW / 270 PS 4-cylinder TSI engine which is based on the engine of the Golf GTI Edition 30 whose power was already boosted from 147 kW / 200 PS to 169 kW / 230 PS. Additional 40 PS power comes from the modifications made to the turbocharger, intercooling and engine electronics. The Golf Variant RaVe 270 Concept achieves 270 PS at 6,000 rpm and with the maximum torque of 350 Nm at a low 3,000 rpm.

Volkswagen New United Special Edition Models

Volkswagen has come up with the new “United” Special Edition models comprises Polo, Golf, Golf Plus, Touran, Sharan, New Beetle, New Beetle Cabrio and Jetta with price advantages of up to 3,300 euro..

Volkswagen will the “United” name to the “Volkswagen United Masters”, Germany’s biggest indoor soccer contest due to be held in 35 towns and cities around the country next spring. The Polo, Golf, Golf Plus, Touran, Sharan, New Beetle, New Beetle Cabrio and Jetta “United” will be the special pitch-side line-up.

The package, depending on the model, features air-conditioning, a multi-functional steering wheel, a parking pilot and fog lights, cruise control and an automatic driving-light system with the “coming home and leaving home” function.

Driving assistance will be provided by the “MFA Plus” on-board computer in the Golf, Golf Plus and Jetta United. The Golf and Golf Plus United come with a RCD 210 radio.
