TECHART Automobildesign from Leonberg-Höfingen Germany has released its performance and styling upgrades for the Porsche Cayenne Diesel.
The TECHART tuning kits for the Cayenne Diesel are available in the UK from Porsche specialist Tech9 Motorsport.
For the appearance upgrade, TECHART offers Aerokit 1 which consists of a new front panel with a deeper front spoiler, integrated driving and fog lamps, additional cooling vents for extra cooling, deeper sills that help manage under body airflow, a new apron with integrated diffuser at the rear and a low drag roof spoiler. All the components are made from polyurethane for long term durability and for a smooth, high quality appearance.
The Aerokit 1 for the TECHART Porsche Cayenne Diesel also consists of a unique TECHART suspension control module that lowers the Cayenne, reducing roll and further improves the aerodynamics, headlights and rearlight surround trims, 21-inch alloy wheels wrapped with Michelin Diamaris 4X4 XL 295/35 R21 tires, twin double oval exhaust pipes, a three-spoke TECHART sports steering wheel with Porsche airbag, light-weight aluminum pedals and footrest and leather edged luxury logo floormats.
Optional are 22-inch body color wheels with 295/30 R22 Continental tires, an Aero or Turbo-look bonnet and full leather interiors.
The performance of the Cayenne Diesel improved with the help of TECHART Powerkit that boosts the power of the 3.0-liter diesel engine from 176 kW (240 hp) to 213 kW (290 bhp). The maximum torque has also increased from 550 Nm to 630 Nm at 2,200 rpm. From around 1,100 rpm to beyond 4,000 rpm, more than 500 Nm is available.
The CO2 emission remains at 244 g/km and the fue consumption on the combined cycle is at 30.4 mpg.
With the improvements above, the TECHART Porsche Cayenne Diesel sprints from 0 to 60 mph at 7.7 seconds, 0.6 seconds faster than the stock 8.3 seconds.
The TECHART engine styling pack that comes with a carbon fiber engine cover with red embellishments and a metalised TECHART logo enhance the engine bay aesthetics.
THE TECHART Porsche Cayenne Diesel with Aerokit 1 price starts from £55,500 while theCayenne with the Aerokit1 and Powerkit TA 055/D1 price starts from £55,50.
As for owners who already own a Cayenne Diesel, they can install the Aerokit 1 from £15,000 and the Powerkit TA 055/D1 from £2,500.
