VÄTH Automobiltechnik, car tuning specialist from Germany, has released its performance package for the Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG which is powered by a VÄTH 6.3-liter engine that produces 585 hp and 690 Nm of torque.
The modified engine is fitted with enlarged countersunk channels leading to the cylinder head, big intake and exhaust valves, a sports camshaft and fitting valve springs, reprogrammed ECU, an exhaust manifold, two high-grade steel catalyst converters, a sport filter and special forged pistons. The engine tuning is priced at €17,850 while the installation costs €1,785.
With the modifications above, the VÄTH Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds with the top speed of 300 km/h.
With the increase of power, the SUV requires a new braking system to put the SUV to a halt. VÄTH equipped the ML 63 AMG with VÄTH high-performance braking system that comes with 8-piston fix callipers and 350 mm (15”) brake discs and also flexible steel tubes and racing brake fluids. The whole set costs €4,641.
The SUV stands on 3-spoke 22-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 265/35 ZR 22 or 305/30 ZR 22 Dunlop tires. One wheel costs €8,568. The suspension system has also been upgraded with adjustable sport suspension system based on Airmatic (-40 mm) that lowers the car and also improve the road handling.
The aerodynamic is improved with the installation of a rear spoiler mounted over the tailgate which costs €405. The tuning is complete with the installation of fog lights behind the front bumper grille for €583.
