Venturi Automobiles of Monaco has presented its Fetish electric powered roadster at the Top Marques Monaco recently which is expected to hit the roads in June 2009.
The weight of the Venturi Fetish has been reduced by 30 kg from its original prototype which brings the car weight to 950 kg. This made possible by using carbon fiber materials on some parts of the car and also with the use of redesign Saft lithium-ion battery system.
The Venturi Fetish is powered by an electric motor that produces 300 hp (225 kW) and maximum torque of 380 Nm (280 lb-ft). The car clocked 3.5 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h with the top speed of 160 km/h.
The price of the car is set at approximately €297,000 ($465,000) and this will only be confirmed after its official release next year.
