Volkswagen New United Special Edition Models

Volkswagen has come up with the new “United” Special Edition models comprises Polo, Golf, Golf Plus, Touran, Sharan, New Beetle, New Beetle Cabrio and Jetta with price advantages of up to 3,300 euro..

Volkswagen will the “United” name to the “Volkswagen United Masters”, Germany’s biggest indoor soccer contest due to be held in 35 towns and cities around the country next spring. The Polo, Golf, Golf Plus, Touran, Sharan, New Beetle, New Beetle Cabrio and Jetta “United” will be the special pitch-side line-up.

The package, depending on the model, features air-conditioning, a multi-functional steering wheel, a parking pilot and fog lights, cruise control and an automatic driving-light system with the “coming home and leaving home” function.

Driving assistance will be provided by the “MFA Plus” on-board computer in the Golf, Golf Plus and Jetta United. The Golf and Golf Plus United come with a RCD 210 radio.

To differentiate the “United” versions from the standard models is the “United” logo situated on the side section at the rear of the vehicle. Other than that, the Golf and Golf Plus are painted in exclusive Heaven Blue Metallic and also the Golf, Golf Plus and Touran comes with 16-inch “Mugello” alloy wheels.

At the interior, the middle sections of the seats, feature the new “Surprise” design, and leather versions are available for the gear-shift knob and the hand-brake lever. The United vehicles also come with sporty accessories such as a Nike football, sports bag and towel.

Among all the “United” models, the Golf United BlueMotion is the most efficient and the most environmentally friendly vehicles in its class of all times with a price advantage of 2,312 euro. The Golf BlueMotion United consumes 4.3 liter of fuel per 100 km and its CO2 emissions is only 115g/km.

The performance of the Golf United BlueMotion could be achieved after the proper modifications to the engine, longer gear ratios in the third, fourth and fifth transmission levels, a cd-enhanced underbody, and a practically closed-off radiator grille.
