Wimmer Rennsporttechnik Solingen (RS) of Germany has released its tuning package for the Porsche 997 GT2 Biturbo to produce 680 hp and 870 Nm of maximum torque.
Modifications to improve the performance on the Biturbo engine include a reprogrammed ECU with two optimized Wimmer turbochargers, a custom Wimmer sport exhaust system with two Zeller catalysts, new cylinder head, sport camshafts and sport clutch. The engine conversion package costs around 29,800 Euro, fitting and left-lane-guarantee included.
The Wimmer RS Porsche GT2 accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds, 200 km/h in 9.78 seconds and 300 km/h in 25.8 seconds. The top speed of the modified GT2 could reach up to 356 km/h depending on the conversion and the clearance of the tires.
At the exterior, the Wimmer RS Porsche GT2 features carbon exterior mirrors and rear spoiler while H&R components has been installed to improve the chassis.
The Wimmer GT2 stands on 20-inch Sportec wheels wrapped with Dunlop Sport-Maxx GT tires measuring at 235/30-20 at the front and 325/25-20 at the rear.
